FAQ

What if I get nervous in front of the camera?

If you hate having your picture taken, don't worry! I strive to make every session feel relaxed, fun, and low-pressure. I'm also happy to talk through exactly what you can expect for your session to help you feel more at ease.

What should I wear for my session?

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable! If you have a favorite piece of clothing, start there. Generally, busy prints and loud colors can detract from the subject. If there are multiple people in the session, I recommend coordinating similar color palettes without being too "matchy".

Can I extend the session on the day of?

Half-hour sessions may be extended to hour-long sessions depending on day-of schedule availability. Seasonal mini-sessions can not be extended.

Do I have to order prints through you?

You do not have to order prints through my website, but you do have that option!

What is included in the processing and editing?

Photo editing and processing consists of light and color correction, the removal of distracting elements, and other, aesthetic changes to give your photos a distinctive look. I do not offer major editing to change your appearance.

What kind of gear do you use?

My primary camera is a Canon EOS RP, and my most commonly used lenses are Canon RF 25-104mm and Canon 50mm.

What is your editing style?

My editing style is whimsical, moody, and vivid. Check out my portfolio for a sense of how I edit my photos!
